Please join us to honor the Class of 2017 Hall of Fame inductees on Tuesday, January 22, 2018. Formal program starts at 7:00 p.m., followed by a reception in the lobby of the Harrell Theater. This is a free program and all are welcome. For questions, please call 901-475-2770.
The 2018 Town of Collierville Father~Daughter Dance will take place at the H. W. Cox Park Gym on February 2, 2018 from 6:30-9:00 p.m. Tickets are $55 per father-daughter pair and $15 for each additional daughter. The ticket price includes a special event t-shirt for each daughter, as well as dinner and entertainment. *During online registration, daughter's t-shirt size will be requested. Professional photographer will be at the event with picture packages available for purchase (optional; see pricing at the event). Registration is open HERE (or click on the picture below). Dr. Dan Lattimore Recognized for Service
At the January 8th meeting of the Collierville Board of Mayor and Aldermen, Dr. Dan Lattimore was recognized for 29 years of volunteer service to the Town of Collierville. Dr. Lattimore served three years on the Collierville Arts Council, four years on the Library Board and twenty two years on the Parks Advisory Board. “Dr. Lattimore has been steadfast in his volunteer responsibilities as a community servant and it is with great pleasure that we acknowledge Dr. Lattimore’s selfless dedication to making Collierville a great place to live and work.” said Mayor Joyner.
Collierville Parks, Recreation, Cultural Arts and Tourism Director Greg Clark assisted Mayor Joyner in presenting Dr. Lattimore with a plaque from the Town.
Visit the Town's historic Depot
Starting August 12, 2017, the Depot will open "Train Depots and Rail History of the Mid-South" the historic Train Depot on Town Square. The temporary exhibit features pictures from depots in the area, as well as the grand central stations and bridges that facilitated the movement of goods and people along the rails. Exhibit runs through January 2018.
The Historic Depot serves as Collierville's Visitor Center, Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm, and during special events. The building is also home to Town's Division of Tourism and Special Events.
