Any team may register (regardless of number of residents) October 30 - November 12, 2017
Players can "play up" in divisions, but may never "play down" in a division. This means a 9th or 10th grader can play in the 11th-12th grade division, but an 11th or 12th grader CANNOT play in the 9th-10th grade division.
Team Registration Fee
$600 per team
At least 1 team representative is REQUIRED to make the orientation or the team will not be allowed to join the league, but we encourage as many players and parents to make it as possible. We will discuss the season timeline, answer questions you may have and go over league specifics.
Sunday, November 19th 4:00pm, Community Center Gym
Free Agent List
We do not "reserve" practices for this division. Practices will be the responsibility of the team. Collierville residents wishing to inquire about a Gym & Track Membership from DAC Fitness can contact them at 861-2110. Individuals with a Gym & Track Membership or full membership from DAC Fitness may come into the gym during open play hours, but may not "reserve" a court. It will be on a first come first served basis, and if space is available.
Games will begin November 29, 2017 and conclude as early as possible in February, 2018. All games will be played on Wednesday nights and/or Sunday afternoons. All games will be played at the H.W. Cox Community Center Gym or the Linda Kerley Recreation Center Gym. Gym locations are below.
Jerseys will be the responsibility of the team. Every jersey must meet the following criteria BEFORE THEY ARE ABLE TO BE USED IN THE LEAGUE:
Must not be offensive in wording, logos, names, etc.
Must use legal high school basketball numbers on the front AND back (00, 0-5, 10-15, 20-25, 30-35, 40-45, 50-55)
Only last names are allowed on the back of the jerseys. No nicknames, slogans and/or any other wording other than the last name of the player. The last name on the back of the jersey must be the last name of the player wearing it. You do not have to put anything on the back of the jersey if you choose (exception is number- numbers are mandatory on the front and back).
Must turn in the names of the team, artwork, logos, etc. to the Athletic Staff for approval. No jerseys will be allowed in the league unless you gain written permission from the Athletic Department.
Any jerseys that are not approved by the Athletic Department will not be permitted to be worn in any game.
If jerseys are not approved, this Department will not refund any form of payment or reimbursement of fees for said jerseys.
All players who participate in any game must be listed on that team's roster or listed on the Athletic Staff's Free Agent List. For regular season games only, teams may use a legal player (within the appropriate grade for that division) that is listed on the Free Agent List for a game-by-game basis. The Free Agent List will not be available for tournament games. Any player that is found to be playing in any game AND IS NOT LISTED ON THAT TEAM'S ROSTER OR NOT LISTED ON THE FREE AGENT LIST will result in that team forfeiting that game in question.
