A Few Reminders Regarding dog ordinances in Collierville
and its Parks:

Cleanliness:
Please keep in mind that failure to clean-up after your pet in not only disrespectful to your neighbors, it is also illegal (Section 4 (D) chapter 90 of the Town code) and poses a health hazard.  Humans and their pets are susceptible to a host of parasites and other illnesses that can be transmitted via fecal waste; these diseases include Hepatitis A, hookworms and others. Children are especially susceptible to such illnesses. Please be responsible and clean-up after your pet on all public/private property. Any person having the custody or control of any dog shall have the responsibility for cleaning up any feces of the dog and disposing of the waste in a sanitary manner.
Leash law: Except in public areas where restraint of a dog is not required (off-leash dog park - Suggs Park), an owner or handler of a dog on a leash or lead shall keep the dog under control at all times, as per section 4 (A) chapter 90 of the Town code.
Safety: Posted at all athletic facilities in the Town of Collierville "No Pets Allowed" and as such owners are not permitted to allow their pets into these youth athletic field areas, as per section 4 (B) chapter 90 of the Town code.
