SPRING 2015 TENNIS PROGRAMS

YOUTH AND ADULT TENNIS CLINICS

SESSION DATES: MARCH 23 - MAY 7, 2015

REGISTRATION DATES:  JANUARY 12 - MARCH 16, 2015

Levels/Times:
K-8th
(5:00 - 6:00 p.m. ~ Monday/or Thursday)   
Beginner/Advanced Beginner Instruction-separate by age/ability on the courts using USTA Quick Start instructional format
High School & Adult Co-Ed Beginner (6:00-7:00 p.m. ~ Monday's)
Never played tennis before or need a major refresher course.
High School & Adult Co-Ed Advanced Beginner (6:00-7:00 p.m. ~ Thursday's)
Previous tennis lessons and must be able to rally the ball back and forth.
Adult Beginner (10:00- 11:00 a.m. - Monday's)
Adult Cardio Tennis (10:00 - 11:00 a.m. ~ Monday's)
Drill & Point Play to Music!  Must have played tennis before to participate. 
Adult Co-Ed Cardio (7:00-8:00 pm. ~ Wednesday's)
This is not a beginners tennis clinic.

Fees: $135 Resident (8 week session - 1 day per week)
$170 Non-resident (8 week session - 1 day per week)

Note:  Summer Registration dates:  April 6 - May 29, 2015  Programs will start in June 2015.


Participants need to bring to class a tennis racquet, hat or sun visor, tennis shoes, and a water bottle.  Youth clinics are taught on the USTA Quick Start 10/Under program (modified court size/modified tennis ball size for 8/under and 10/under).  All Junior Players that are considered intermediate/advanced should contact Tony Cherone at 901-488-2985 in regards to USTA Jr. Team Tennis Development Program. Private lessons are also offered and scheduled thru Tony Cherone.

 

JUNIOR TEAM TENNIS

Teams formed in all age groups and skill levels. 
Requirements to play: USTA Member and basic knowledge of rules
and scoring.  Coach Tony Cherone will contact interested players.

What to bring to class: Size appropriate tennis racquet, wear tennis shoes, hat, and a water bottle. 

Rainout Information: In the event of rain classes will be cancelled by the instructor/office staff.  If weather is inclement a decision will be made around 4 p.m., then an email will be sent out to notify parents of cancellation.  If rain should occur just prior to class start time there will not be time to send out notification and participants will need to show up to see if classes are in session.
