Please read the details of each trip! The deposit and trip deadlines are final! We must have solid numbers on the deadline dates in order to finalize plans. Some of our trips will have a refund policy (trips booked with travel agencies that carry travel insurance) and small day trips that are scheduled by the department will have deadline dates to meet minimum number required for trips; once payments are sent into hold reservations for hotels, buses, and tickets for events there will be no refunds! We look forward to a fun and exciting 2005 with you! May 10-15 - Shenandoah Valley, Washington, DC & Mount Vernon
Tour:: Collierville and Germantown Parks and Recreation have planned an
exciting motor coach tour of our Nations Capital. Group will depart from
Collierville at 7 a.m. and from Germantown at 7:30 a.m. and head east to
Kingsport for an overnight stay then onto Washington, DC the next morning
(travel along the scenic Shenandoah Valley). Tour highlights: Arlington
National Cemetery, tour of Washington, DC, Memorial along the Mall, United
States Capitol Building, National Archives, National Geographic Society
Explorer�s Hall, World War II & the Vietnam Memorials, drive by the Ford Theatre
and the White House, tour Mount Vernon and dinner at the Mount Vernon Inn,
Washington National Cathedral, The Smithsonian Institutes, shop and dine on your
own at historic Union Station, Monticello (home of Thomas Jefferson), lunch at
Michie Tavern (one of the oldest homesteads remaining) plus a tour of the
homestead grounds, museum and home. Overnight stay in Bristol as we depart for
home. Tour rates also include baggage handling, eleven meals (4 continental
breakfasts, 1 full breakfast, 1 lunch, and 5 dinners), professionally guided
tour of Washington, DC, and all applicable tolls & taxes. Tour cost per person:
Double $670, Triple $625, Quad $590, and Single $750. A $50.00 pp deposit is
due no later than Feb. 1, 2005. Trip cancellation insurance is $62.00 pp and
must be purchased when you place your deposit. All final payments due by April

June 20
- AutoZone Park Redbirds Game: 7:05 p.m. game against Iowa.
Depart Collierville at 5:30 p.m. and Germantown at 6 p.m. Cost: $20 per person
(game ticket and transportation). Register by June 6.
July 14 - Sheraton Casino: Depart
Collierville at 8 a.m. and Germantown at 8:30 p.m. Fee: $12 (lunch buffet,
$5 vendor coin play, and transportation). Group will be at casino from 10 a.m.
� 2 p.m. Arrive back between 3 � 3:30 p.m. Register by July 1.
