Annie is a spunky Depression Era orphan determined to find her parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City orphanage run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and finds a new family and home in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Poster Contest
Create a picture - your version - of Collierville's
Annual Christmas Tree lighting on the Square
Entries due Friday, November 20 to the Harrell Theatre of Performing Arts at
440 W. Powell Road in Collierville
Who is eligible? Any Collierville resident of elementary or middle school age.
What are the parameters? Must be sized 8.5' by 11" or 8.5" by 14" on any medium using any materials; however, it needs to be only two dimensional for reproduction (as a poster) purposes.
If chosen, what do I receive? One family membership to the Harrell Theatre (8 tickets to any show for this or next season) valued at $80. The winning poster artist will be announced at the Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony on Tuesday, December 1st and will be recognized as the artwork for the poster for next year.
How do I submit my work? Please put your name, age, address and contact telephone number on the back of your work and bring to the Harrell Performing Arts Theatre box office between the hours of 9am -5pm before the end of the day November 20th. If you are unable to bring the entry or need someone to pick up entries from your school, please call Wayne Warren at 853-3228.
