Mission Statement: The Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts Advisory Board is to provide representation for the citizens of the Town of Collierville in partnership with the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department and the Mayor and Board of Aldermen in promoting understanding, appreciation, participation and support for open spaces, parks, recreational opportunities, cultural activities, programs and facilities.

Note: this Board was formed April, 1984, and consists of 9 members serving a term of one calendar year with terms expiring December 31st of each year (Resolution 99-53). Staff Point of Contact: Greg Clark - 457-2778; Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at Town Hall Board Chambers - 500 Poplar View Parkway.
The Board of Aldermen, jointly with the Mayor, has appointment authority for the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board.
Special Requirements: Members must be Collierville residents. Members cannot be Town employees. Parks Board chooses own Chairman.
