Members Area

The Complete Athlete Sportsmanship Program is a group of individuals who wish to have fun while learning the values of sportsmanship, such as integrity, respect, and fairness. Members of the program will get to attend special events and activities put on by the program, receive cool prizes, and help provide feedback throughout our athletic programs. The Collierville Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts Department wishes to instill these values into our athletic programs, and members help make this happen.

By joining, you will receive a Complete Athlete t-shirt and bracelet. Membership is absolutely free, and there is no participation requirement. The only thing that members are required to do is pledge to demonstrate these values at all times.

Apart from the t-shirt and bracelet, members will receive periodic emails with interesting readings, surveys, newsletters, etc. Members will have a chance to win cool prizes throughout the year, and there will be frequent events and activities that he or she can enjoy.

There are two ways that one can join the Complete Athlete Sportsmanship Program. First, anyone may elect to join the program. All you have to do is click on the “Join” link above, and someone will walk you through the process. Secondly, anyone who is nominated for his or her demonstration of these values during our athletic programs will automatically receive a membership into the program. Nominations come from feedback from officials, coaches, spectators, athletic staff, etc.

For those wishing to become more involved into the program, as well as our athletic programs, there are levels of membership that members can climb. Each level incorporates a different value, and when the member masters what it takes to demonstrate that value, he or she can move to the next level. Once again, there is no obligation for any member to move from level to level, but for those who wish to become involved, we have this in place for you.
