Parental Advisory: Explicit Behavior -
Is the rash of parental violence at youth sporting events increasing, or
are we just now recognizing it as a problem? Click
here to read this report
published in January/February 2003 issue of Sporting Kid.
Field Conditions
There are two ways to find out information on field conditions:
1.) Go to
www.midsouthsports.com, or
2.) Call Rec-Check at 853-1212. Rec-Check
is updated daily at 3:00 pm Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am on Saturday and
11:00 am on Sundays. Rec-Check is designed to aid the Collierville Parks, Recreation and
Cultural Arts Department in forwarding information to participants in sports and
recreational programs. Participants are responsible for finding out information concerning
cancellations and weather updates.
Please do not call Rec-Check prior to designated times above. If there
is an abundance
of calls to Rec-Check while updating is in progress, errors will occur in the system.
Please be patient. The Town of Collierville has no control of the weather and what it can
do to our facilities.
The Town of Collierville Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department offers a
