Class Times: Monday's

Ages 4 - 6 years  Levels 1  5:30 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.

Ages 7 - 9 years   Level 2  6:30 p.m. - 7:15 p.m.

Ages 10 - 18 years  Level 3/4  7:30 p.m. - 8:15 p.m.

Class Location:  Collierville Community Center Gym or Racquetball Court Area- 440 W. Powell Road

Spring Class fees: $112.00 resident / $127.00 non-resident. Register prior to class start date.  1st - class sessions will be determined by registration. No payments will be accepted at class location; must register in advance.  Late registration thru 3rd class meeting - fees are not prorated. Class fees for summer session:  $46.00 resident / $61.00 Non-resident

ONLINE REGISTRATION(credit card payment) now available: go to www.everysport.net/collierville go to Instructional Programs then Instructional Cheer for Young Champions Program Registration. Poms (optional) are available for purchase at class.  Register at Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department administrative office Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Registration cannot be accepted by the instructor or at class location; must be registered in order to participate in the program.  Fees will not be pro-rated for missed classes.

SAFE SITTER BABYSITTING COURSE

If you have a group of girls/boys interested in a class contact Lisa Gaither at 457-2770.  A minimum of 8 required to conduct a class;class maximum 20.  Visit www.safesitter.org to learn about the Safe Sitter Program. Safe Sitter is the ultimate confidence builder for boys and girls ages 11+.  It teaches essential life skills and safety behaviors to prepare them to be better parents and adult later in life. Participants will learn how to handle situations that may occur, how to prevent injuries, seek help when needed, safety when babysitting, how to care for different age children, how to prevent problem behavior, how to entertain children, how to rescue a choking infant or child, basic first aid, and how to run a babysitting business.

Dates: May 7, 2016 (Saturday)  
Workshop times: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Students need to bring to class the following items: Baby Doll, Notebook/Pen/Pencil, sack lunch with drink and snack.
Class location: 419 Johnson Park Dr. - WC Johnson Park
Fee:  $95.00
Register no later than 2 weeks prior to class start date - supplies for course have to be ordered based on enrollment.

KinderKids Program (4-5 yrs) - Our KinderKids program is an excellent way to introduce the long-term benefits of dramatic arts participation to children attending Pre-K, or Kindergarten.  Each KinderKids student is highly involved in creative drama activities that develops speaking skills, builds confidence, and enhances early social skills and creative learning.  Our Drama Kids instructors make sure all students feel comfortable and recognized so they will stretch and grow in a postivie environment.  New scenes and activities are held in each class.  Don't miss the fun! Min. 6/Max. 14
Class day/time: Thursdays 5:00 - 5:45 p.m.

Lower Primary Program (5-8 yrs) - The Drama Kids development drama progam for Lower Primary provides young children ages 5 to 8 with unique opportunities to develop clear speech, fluent delivery and pleasing social skills.  Our program helps to give them confidence to be participants in all aspects of their lives, able to ask questions, seek answers and share information with others.  Children who mix well with others find it easier to make friends and adjust to new situations. They find school and enjoyable adventure!  Drama Kids highly trained teachers motivate and inspire the students to become articulate communicators through enthusiastic participation in a wide range of creative activities including speech, creative movement, improvisation, and a special year-end performance. Min. 6/Max. 20
Class day/time: Thursdays 5:45 - 6:45 p.m.

Upper Primary Program (9-11 yrs) - The confident, articulate child finds it easier to make friends, accept new challebnges and explore new directions.  The Drama Kids Upper Primary program for children ages 9 - 11 is designed to help each child achieve these invaluable life skills.  Students in our Upper Primary program participate in a wide range of creative activities including speech, dramatic movement, improvisation, snippets and scene starters. At the end of each year, they utilize all the skills acquired during the year to perform a short, scripted production for parents and friends.  In a fun-filled atmosphere, our classes aim to give young people ongoing confidence, self-esteem and skill in verbal communication!  Min. 6/Max. 20
Class day/time: Thursdays 6:45 - 7:45 p.m.
