2016-2017 Goals

Improve operations, efficiency and appearances in grounds and landscaping.
* Fully establish complete grass coverage at Hinton park.
* Contract out Right of Ways maintenance responsibilities.
* Expand the landscape crew by transferring the Right of Way employees to landscaping.
* Evaluate computer controlled remote irrigation system.

Improve Youth and Adult Athletic Leagues and Opportunities
* Provide more "recreational" rules; provide more fun.
* Review all drafting and leveling procedures.
* Provide coaches training with emphasis on team and practice time management.
* Review Travel Team league for fall.
* Develop procedures to collect required information dealing with concession and cardiac arrest training.

Enhance the Cultural Arts Experience
* Develop a concert plan for the Performance Lawn at Hinton Park.
* Organize a "Theatre Guild" volunteer group designed to assist in the promotion of productions at the theatre.
* Re-work Cultural Arts web page to increase traffic.

Increase efficiency by managing all spaces at the Theatre for maximum benefit.
* Look at the reallocation of the inner office space for Production and Management team assigned office space during productions.
* Create workable space in the equipment room for additional storage.

Provide new and improved opportunities in all areas of recreational programming.
* Compile operational plan for senior center construction.
* Celebrate 20 years of Camp Smile.
* Develop plans for a nature education room at WC Johnson House.
* Host a new outdoor program at Hinton Park.

Review and Improve Successful 2016 Special Events.
* Move Kollierville Kite Day to Hinton Park.
* Provide additional advertising and promotional information for the Annual Fishing Rodeo.
* Manage Annual 4th of July Celebration on July 4th.

Expand Collierville Greenbelt System.
* Completion of Wolf River trail section at Robbins Halle Natural Area.
* Identify connection opportunities along the Nonconnah Creek Trail for both east and west expansion.
* Begin layout of Wolf River Trail from W C Johnson Park East to Collierville/Arlington Road along the Wolf River.
